Danielle Melotte will enter her first season as Carthage College women's soccer graduate assistant in 2018.
Melotte enlisted her services to the Lady Reds soccer program after a successful four-year playing career at Benedictine University (Ill.). The Oconomowoc, Wisconsin native accumulated 20 goals and 13 assists for 53 points over 76 career games played for the Benedictine Eagles. This includes a team-leading six goals, four assists and 16 points her senior season. Melotte's freshman season ended with her being named to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) All-Freshman Team after she notched six goals and three assists for 15 points.
Off the playing field, Melotte served as a media & event staff member for the Benedictine sports marketing and communications department while also holding the title as athletic training student aide. She also had stints at NX Level Sports Performance, and Be Fitness as a personal trainer.
Melotte obtained her bachelor of arts degree in exercise & sports studies from Benedictine University in May 2018. She is currently working toward her master's degree in education from Carthage College.
